Dagfinn was a co-founder of Positron Capital and serves as Chairman of the firm. He has worked with Private Equity since the early 1980s with the exception of nine years as Head of Finance for the DNV Group (Det Norske Veritas).

Dagfinn also has a broad background from entrepreneurial activities, structuring, and management as well as financing new start-ups in Norway and the USA. He has extensive experience in corporate governance from several countries and sits on the boards of several companies and funds.

Dagfinn has previously worked at Origo Ventures in Oslo, Carlsdorff Partners (Corporate Finance) in Zurch, ICDG (Private Equity) in London/Zurich as well as Wells Fargo Bank (Corporate Banking) in San Francisco. He holds an MBA from Golden Gate University.
